ALAIN AGUAYO DJ | Producer | Founder    He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on May 29, 1987. At the young age of 15, he received his first pair of Gemini turntables that he used for scratching. A year later everything changed when he went to his first rave “Nick Warren at Rio Isabela” in Santo Domingo. After this experience Aguayo began listening to electronic music more often and eventually he used these turntables to mix. He began to DJ at parties for his school with just a mixer, a DVD player and a regular CD player because he was unable to buy vinyl records at that time. In 2007 he was introduced to “Propellerhead’s Reason 3.0” and that year he began his “bedroom music production”. That same year, he had his first real gig in Santo Domingo. He always used software such as Torq and Traktor Scratch along with his turntables but from late 2008 and on he began to use actual vinyl records for his DJ sets. Currently Aguayo resides in Daytona Beach, Florida due to educational purposes; however he travels back to DR quite often for events, promos and pleasure.
